Introduction
The Sonoff RF WiFi Bridge is a slightly curious device. This allows a smartphone to control smarthome gadgets which usually require an RF remote control. It’s a cute little box, small and light enough to hide away anywhere. Even under use, it doesn’t get hot. It converts 433MHz RF remote to APP via WiFi.

By adding the RF wireless Bridge to iOS/Android App eWeLink WiFi wirelessly, you can add up to four 1-4 buttons 433.92MHz Wireless RF Remotes or 433.92MHz sensors to the RF Bridge device. After pairing the 433Mhz RF Remote buttons with 433Mhz RF controlled devices, you can directly control maximum 16 RF controlled devices on the App through WiFi/2/3/4G network.
It can be used for most of the 433.92MHz RF Remote controlled products, like RF controlled switch, RF controlled socket, RF controlled bulb, RF controlled door opener, etc. You can set totally 8 schedule/countdown/loop timers to turn on/off the RF controlled products.
Even more exciting is that it will work with the 433.92MHz door magnetic sensor, 433.92MHz human body IR sensor, and more other 433.92MHz sensors to realize security alarm, and allowing you to DIY smart scenes.

Design and Dimensions


The Sonoff RF WiFi bridge has a cuboid like shape, it comes with a plastic case and the device is very portable. It has a weight of 0.0400 KG and a size of 2.44 x 2.44 x 0.79 inches. On the body is a setting button and a 5V micro USB port. It also has power, RF and WiFi indicators.

Software

WiFi bridge
For th Sonoff WiFi bridge you need to use the eWeLink app. Like lots of smarthome apps from China, it isn’t the best but it works pretty well. The translations on the app and the user guide would benefit from a more professional approach, but it is adequate. The app is quick to respond.

Operation
If you have devices which need 433MHz controls, this is a ridiculously cheap way to add them to your home network. The Alexa control is the icing on the cake.

WiFi bridge
The Sonoff RF WiFi bridge works, but how many 433MHz devices do you have? If you’ve got compatible devices, this is a useful gizmo, but most modern devices have WiFi built in, so it may be worth upgrading older devices if you can.
Remote ControlWiFi bridge
It is an RF remote which you can pair with the box. Kinda neat if you don’t want to unlock your phone to activate something. The remote has four operation button on it.
