Yuneec Typhoon Q500/Q500+/Q500 4K, how they differ?

Yuneec Typhoon Q500/Q500+/Q500 4K are the same series of quadcopters. If you ask me what differences among them, then i would like to answer that Yuneec Typhoon Q500 is the original version, Q500+ is the upgraded version and Q500 4K is the further upgraded version.

Specs
There is a little difference on size among this three quadcopters: Yuneec Typhoon Q500 is in size of 16.5*16.5*9.5 inch, which is same as Q500+, while the Q500 4K is a little bigger in size of 16.5*22.2*8.3 inch. Powered by 5400mAh 3S 11.1V LiPo Battery, they all can fly up to 25 minutes.

Aerial photography equipment
I think we can already know their differences about this aspect from their names. This three high-end quadcopters adopts advanced aerial photography equipment: CGO2, CGO2+ and CGO3 3-axis gimal camera respectively. Difference on these three gimbal cameras lies on resolution of cameras.

Q500 4K certainly means this quadcopter comes with a 4K camera. Some people may think 1080p is enough, which the Q500 owns. That’s true. But when you make a comparison between them, you will definitely be attracted by the ultra high-definition resolution of 4K that is four times higher than HD. What’s more, you also get a nice pistol grip steadycam that you can mount the CGO2+/ CGO3 camera ( i am not sure weather the Q500 also includes this grip) on or use a phone of tablet that is dual band on WIFI. By the way, Q500+ comes with a 16MP camera.

Functions
Yuneec Typhoon Q500/ Q500+/ Q500 4K own same functions. For one hand, their functions make our control simpler; for another, they help to get smooth and professional footage. For example, by starting the Watch Me Mode function, we can easily get amazing footage of our actions on the go. In addition, the Follow Me Mode will let the drone follow us anywhere we go and creates awesome selfie video for us.

Remote controller
Yuneec Typhoon Q500/Q500+/Q500 4K own same remote controller. The controller is actually a ground station with a crystal clear 5.5in LCD touch screen where you can read wind speed information, speed of the quad and so on and enjoy a fabulous FPV experience.
