Consisted of carbon fiber main frame and aluminum alloy rotor head, DJI Phantom Gopro3 Gimbal forms quite simple structure and light weight, which will ease installation while saving lots of space for other assembly. Meanwhile, it utilizes 2208 motors included direct driving system, and the motor protector can enhance heat dissipation. DJI Phantom Gopro3 Gimbal is not the lightest gimbal, but it is robust and well built. It worked out of the box and you only need to change one setting, the “roll power” which you may reduce from 100 to 85 to eliminate a vibration. Otherwise the factory settings seem to be right. I think you probably need the lower value if using a Mobius camera, which is lighter than a GoPro, for which the settings were probably optimized.
For hobbyists use Mobius camera, you can mount the camera with a bolt into the tripod fitting of its mounting bracket, plus a couple of washers. It needs to be near the end of the camera plate to balance the gimbal. To change the settings or calibrate the accelerometer you need Simple BGC v2.2 b2. Don’t forget to save the factory settings before you do anything else in case you mess thing up. DJI Phantom Gopro3 Gimbal works well and the anti-vibration grommets eliminate jello!
