Multi Rotor PartsReviews

You can’t tell whether a motor is good or bad if not employing the proper Propellers, battery as well as ESC. For hobbyists keen on flying multi-rotor copters, I’ll recommend Sunnysky 2300KV brushless motor. It not only features smooth rotation, lower noise and simplified installation. Meanwhile, it’s highly compatible with excellent electronics parts on the market. Hereinafter I’ll gather some useful information for you.
Sunnysky 2300KV
First of all, Sunnysky 2300KV can be perfectly compatible LiPo batteries. When fully charged by LiPos, the engine system can get a constant voltage in the easiest way. Someone used the biggest packs, four in parallel most of the time for consistency. It also gives an absolute maximum which I think is useful in its own right, even though a single LiPo will not sustain that same voltage. Once the props are free to move, it should allow a single LiPos to maintain a better voltage than it could on a bench.

What’s more, 5×4 and 6×4.5 props are absolutely fantastic for Sunnysky 2300KV, much more rigid, better made, smoother running and more powerful. Especially 6×4.5 is an absolute powerhouse of a prop! It hit a peak of 765 grams of thrust compared to about 500 grams max from the 5″ props. I highly recommend the 6×4.5 for the most powerful mini FPV ships. It is rigid, smooth and 50% more powerful than the best 5″ props.

Sunnysky 2300KVBesides, HQ Prop 6×3 should be on the warpquad. Slightly less speed from the lower pitch but heaps of traction and bite, which is more suitable for heavier FPV quads actually. You can hear the motors have more power in reserve with the 6×3 on this lightweight quad, and the reserve should go to good use carrying FPV gear and still remain agile. Anyway, the most useful comparison is between props and Sunnysky 2300KV if given the same conditions.

Sunnysky 2300KVMoreover, the 50% position is just eyeballed on the TX, but I have tested the repeatable accuracy to between 1500-1512us in the MW GUI. You should use 70% of free RPM point on the bench, as Sunnysky 2300KV / prop combination seems to work well in practice. For the props that load the motor too much on the bench, you can see and hear thrust, and RPM drop off immediately after full throttle is reached. If only leave these tests for a very short of time, it won’t burn out the motor.
